Classic French Hospitality on Dundas West
Le Baratin French Bistro brings l’arte de vivre to Toronto, simply meaning dining is not just about food, but also a lifestyle.
There’s a reason why French cuisine has dominated fine-dining around the world: Attention to detail, balanced dishes we don’t grow tired of, and rich quality ingredients. Unfortunately this often comes with quite the price tag.
Jean Regis, chef at Le Baratin, has changed that. He has brought his experience of central French cuisine, combined it with international know-how, and then peeled away everything pretentious about it. This has been a recipe for success, where guests feel the relaxed, comforting style of dining enjoyed by the majority of French people outside of Paris.
Enjoy a glass of wine… heck, why not a bottle? The well-priced list allows you to choose from a dozen plus options ranging from $40-$60. Then you can choose from the duck breast with Dubonnet sauce, the rack of lamb, or the sweet-savoury tarte-iflette, to name a few.
Do save room for dessert! The Tarte Tatin, a famous upside down apple tart is one of the classics you’ll want to finish off your experience with.
Le Baratin is open for lunch, brunch, and dinner service.
